Build Czech Statistical Report for ČSÚ (DANTE WEB)
Skill: Convert business data into a mandatory ČSÚ statistical report
Region: Czech Republic (Česká republika) Category: Government — Statistics (ČSÚ) Does: Takes a respondent's business data and assembles a structured statistical report (výkaz) for submission to the Czech Statistical Office (ČSÚ) through DANTE WEB / the Respondent Portal, completing the form for the relevant survey (e.g. P, Prům, Stav, Zahr, ICT outputs). Spec: ČSÚ — DANTE WEB electronic report (per-survey výkaz definition; 2026 portal change)
Selected reporting units (zpravodajské jednotky) are legally obliged to complete periodic statistical surveys under the státní statistická služba. Forms are filed electronically through DANTE WEB; ČSÚ is migrating respondents to a new Respondent Portal in 2026, so the access route and authentication may change. Each survey has its own form code, reference period and variable set. This skill describes preparing and submitting the structured výkaz; field names follow the specific survey form, not a verbatim schema.
When this applies
- A unit is in scope when ČSÚ selects it into the sample (or it is a census unit) for a given survey; the obligation and the form code are notified to the respondent.
- Frequency varies by survey — monthly, quarterly, or annual — each with its own deadline; nil/"no activity" returns are still required when requested.
Structure (survey form → submission)
Identification reporting unit IČO, survey code (číslo výkazu),
reference period (month/quarter/year)
Variable blocks survey-specific indicators, e.g.:
revenue / tržby, output, orders (industry/trade surveys)
employment headcount and wages (mzdy)
physical quantities / production volumes
investment, energy, ICT usage (per survey)
Methodological codes CZ-NACE activity, CZ-CPA product codes where required
Submission upload / online form completion via DANTE WEB / Respondent Portal
Data rules
- Report against the exact variable definitions and units of the survey (some in CZK thousands, some in physical units, some headcount) — units differ per cell, so follow each form's instructions.
- Classify activity with CZ-NACE and, where the form requires, products with CZ-CPA; codes must be current.
- Apply edit/consistency checks built into DANTE WEB (totals vs components, period-over-period plausibility) before submitting; resolve flagged values.
- Figures should reconcile to the respondent's accounting/payroll source data and, where overlapping, to other ČSÚ returns and Intrastat.
- Confirm the 2026 portal/authentication change (DANTE WEB → Respondent Portal) before filing, as login and submission steps may differ.
Worked example (quarterly P-survey, outline)
Identification: IČO=12345678, survey=P 5-01, period 2026-Q1
Variables: revenue from own products/services 12,500 (CZK thousand)
average registered headcount 48 ; wage costs 9,800 (CZK thousand)
CZ-NACE main activity 25.62
Completed in DANTE WEB / the Respondent Portal; the portal's edit checks must pass before the výkaz is accepted.
Validation checklist
- Unit confirmed in scope; correct survey code (číslo výkazu) and reference period
- Variables match the form's definitions and units (CZK thousands / physical / headcount)
- CZ-NACE (and CZ-CPA where required) codes current and correct
- DANTE WEB edit/consistency checks pass (totals foot; plausibility vs prior period)
- Figures reconcile to accounting/payroll source data; overlap with other returns consistent
- 2026 Respondent Portal access/authentication confirmed; filed by the survey deadline (nil return if required)
